Do not sell yourself short – make sure to research the Dental Assisting programs around you and find out if anything is “too good to be true!” Make sure you ask questions.

When it comes to learning – everyone soaks up information differently. Here at The Dental Assistant School of Atlanta we focus on teaching in ways where everyone can learn! Whether it be by practicing sutures (NOT on ourselves or other students!) so our students can learn how they go in so they know how they come out, or labeling the instruments of the trade, we give our students the visual and hands on experiences that they have repeatedly told us works! You talk, we listen: See it, touch it, say it out loud, and use it!

Dental Office Job after Only 3 weeks of School

dental office jobI was ready to start my career and I couldn’t be any happier that I decided to attend DASA. Michelle and Jennifer are the best instructors anyone can ask for. They are very thorough and genuinely want nothing but for their students to excel. With the knowledge and skills that I received at DASA, I was able to land a dental office job only 3 weeks into school!

I have absolutely no regrets and I highly recommend choosing DASA to jump start your dental career!

Molar Eclipse

People gazed upwards in their millions on Monday 8/21/2017, as a total solar eclipse swept the United States. It was the first such eclipse to stretch across the coasts of the US in 99 years.
From mounted patrol officers in Idaho to schoolchildren in Missouri, the nation was transfixed by the sight of the Moon drifting in front of the Sun, and blocking its light. Students at Dental Assistant School of Atlanta saw a molar eclipse in preparation for their new careers.

Dental Assistant School – Have What it Takes?

Have you found yourself wondering “What is next for me” as you move into the summer months? We hear that a lot at the Dental Assistant School of Atlanta. One reason why our students take our dental assisting course is because they can get work just about anywhere in the United States as a dental assistant.

Dental Assistant School

Our students have no time for standing around since we are a short term course that will be finished in just 13-weeks. Our students jump right in and start learning x-rays, cleanings, impressions and much more.

Our students practice hard on instrument recognition and transfer. By knowing the instruments and proper transferring methods, it helps reduced the time of a procedure or exam.

It really doesn’t take long for our students to form friendships in class since they will be practicing on each other. Our hands-on approach helps our dental assistants learn quicker and to be prepared for working in a dental office.

So what is your plan?
