dentist assistant jobI attended the Dental Assistant School of Atlanta and it was the best decision of my life. My instructors Michelle and Kim where absolutely amazing and made sure we knew exactly what we needed to succeed.

The classes were also small so that you get one on one learning and you build great teamwork skills! Also Michelle helps tremendously with job placement!

I was offered a job almost a month before I graduated! I would recommend this school to anyone looking for an amazing career; the DASA team are the best!

Dental Assistant Training – Recent Graduates

The Dental Assistant School of Atlanta would like to congratulate these recent graduates for completing dental assistant training. All your hard work really paid off. We know that each of you will become the very best dental assistant you can be and we wish you all the best of luck.

Dental Assistant Training

Dental assistant training occurs in various areas of dental health to help dentists perform procedures and care. This includes support for cosmetic dentistry. While many treatments with this label are cosmetic in nature, quite a few are also restorative and can solve numerous oral problems.

IMG_4234Some of the different cosmetic dentistry procedures that a dental assistant can help with are the following:

Bonding – Many dental assistants will use bonding while being supervised by a dentist. Compared to other restorative treatments, bonding can sometimes be chipped or stained. For chipped or decayed teeth, composite resins may be used. Small cavities can also be filled by bonding.

Crowns – Crowns will last the longest of all cosmetic dentistry.  Crowns or caps are used to cover a tooth in order to restore its appearance and shape. Caps are generally among the most expensive and time-consuming of the cosmetic procedures.

Bleaching or Teeth Whitening – One of the most common cosmetic dentistry services that dental assistants help with is teeth whitening. Whitening can be used to eliminate stains caused by food and drinks, medications, and cigarettes, or to make the teeth whiter by a shade.

Dental Assistant Position 3-Weeks Before Graduation

Dental Assistant PositionSuch a fun course with awesome, knowledgeable instructors that would go above and beyond for each student. I could go to them with any question or concern and trust that they would do anything in their power to prepare me for my new career. There are things Michelle and Jennifer took the time to teach us that we wouldn’t have learned if we’d gone to a different school.

I ended up landing a position at a wonderful practice three weeks before graduation and I absolutely love what I do.

Dental Assistant Job before Graduation

Dental Assistant JobThis school is great! Dr. Soto, Michelle and Jennifer are such amazing instructors. They teach everything you need to know to feel prepared to enter the work force. I was offered a job before I had even graduated!

The hours of classroom time is perfect for people who want to have a career but currently work a full-time job, and payment plans are provided as well. 13-weeks flies by! The small class size offers a more intimate/one on one type feel and not to mention, by the end of the program I had built friendly relationships with everyone in my class. I’m so happy I chose this school!
