Dr. Damaries Candelario-Soto
Dr. Candelario-Soto believes in helping people to achieve their goals and gain success by giving them the opportunity to pursue a career in the dental field. The passion she has for helping an individual to develop strong communication skills and interpersonal patient care; will fit them for the next stage in a most rewarding dental assisting career. Having been the owner of her own practice for 22 years, she will teach you the importance of being a viable member of a very successful dental team.
Dr. Candelario-Soto grew up in Carolina, Puerto Rico. She completed her Pre-Dentistry degree and Doctor of Medical Dentistry, DMD at the University of Puerto Rico. She received a Masters Degree in Public Health, MPH and Fellow in Nutrition and Oral Health from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. She was also an Officer in the U.S. Air Force where she earned her Certificate in Endodontics. She remains active duty military in the reserves serving as an Endodontic Consultant.
Michelle Barton CDA, EFDA,
Michelle began her training/career in 1994 as a Dental Assistant. She has extensive knowledge and experience with CEREC, Implant Restorative, and Cosmetic Dentistry. She was a successful dental assistant program director and instructor for more than 7 years. Her passion for teaching and experience with cutting edge technology gives our students a strong foundation and knowledge of Dentistry. She will partner with our graduates and local dentists for career placement opportunities. There is true communication, passion, professionalism and skills when it comes to her teaching ethics. Her favorite quote is: "Make a difference by being the difference".
Jennifer Clark CDA, Instructor
Jennifer was born and raised in Georgia and she is a proud mother of Cody Clark. She has been a Certified Dental Assistant since 2002 and is in private practice with a successful cosmetic dentist in Kennesaw. She has extensive experience as dental assistant and is exceptional at instruction and training new staff. Jennifer brings an additional level of professionalism to our school as an instructor and we are honored to have her as part of our staff.
Kim King CDA, PDA Level 2
Kim graduated in 1995 from the dental assisting program at Durham College in Canada at the top of her class. She also completed an expanded duty course furthering her knowledge and skill set. Kim worked as a Level 2 Preventive Dental Assistant in Canada for over 13 years. Her comprehensive knowledge and experience extends beyond chairside duties and includes treatment coordinating, training and office management. Kim is a dynamic instructor who always operates with the highest degree of professionalism. She is dedicated to achieving the uppermost success for our students
Jennifer Cox CDA, EFDA,
Executive Administrative Specialist, Instructor
Jennifer Cox is a Certified Dental Assistant and has many years of administrative office experience as well as being proficient in accounting and organizational skills. Jennifer also has degree in early childhood education with a concentration in special education. She facilitates and executes all executive responsibilities regarding student enrollment, transcripts and state fillings. We are privileged to have her as part of our administrative team.
Hannah Stillwell CDA, Instructor
Hannah Stillwell is a certified dental assistant since 2013. She has a passion for her profession and demonstrates superb professional ethics. Her expertise in dental radiology where she masters CT scan tomography software and digital radiography is a must to learn in a dental career. We love her compassion to others and we are honored to have her in our team.
Jennifer Burns CDA, EFDA, Instructor
Jennifer hails from a suburb of Philadelphia, PA. After 13 years as a flight attendant for American Airlines and 14 years as a stay at home wife and mother, she went back to school earning her second degree in Dental Assisting. She graduated with honors earning The Outstanding Student Award in her class. Her encore career led her from the dental office to an amazing teaching opportunity at the Dental Assistant School of Atlanta. Jennifer brings new and unique experiences to our dental assisting school as an instructor and mentor.
Stephanie Watson Vann,
Mrs. Vann started her career as a Dental Assistant in 2002 after graduating top of her class at Dental Careers of Atlanta. She continued her education in Radiology at Coosa Valley Technical College. Her certifications include Radiology and Cone Beam CT Scans. She is a vital part of the daily operations of Endodontics Associates office staff. She is the Patient Coordinator, Marketing Rep, Webmaster, and will always fill in wherever needed. Mrs. Vann’s comprehensive experience gained through the years in general dentistry, endodontics, front office, radiology, and technology allows her to teach her students with exceptional expertise. She shares her professionalism, vast knowledge, and years of experience with our students in hopes they will carry it forward in their careers. We are very excited Stephanie is part of our team.
